I’ve started drawing graphs to understand my essay questions.  I now officially feel like a real economics student.

things that make me happy:

- being on phone with mom, and shopping online for pretty dresses together.

you know how they in silly romantic films they always talk about people all over the world being under the same sky?  the internet’s unifying in a similar way..  it’s lovely that we all see the same internet(ish).

tute here, today.  so pretty!

such a pretty book! okay, i’ve never seen music books look that nice. most of my music came from the million folders and ancient tearing books my lovely russian piano teacher owned.  finally got out of my lazy funk and decided to bang away at a piano today.

Sometimes I forget how pretty Oxford is.  Then I walk into town and wonder why I don’t spend more time in town.  Also realized that one thing I miss about living at home is that my parents buy awesome things that I get to use - from good food to good books.  I’m figuring the food thing out.  But I miss our books at home!

This is just so damned cool.  I miss work from the summer quite a bit sometimes - it felt good to be doing something that could potentially be making a tangible difference.  Maybe one of my lesson plans would inspire a kid.  Maybe some research I did would change a teaching method.  Maybe an initiative I set up would end in a library in a school.

Oh I’m so idealistic.  But education is just so awesome.
