The grisly truth about the Super Bowl abortion ad. - By William Saletan - Slate Magazine

Being pro-choice and all, I obviously don’t like this ad.  But my problem with it is similar to that described in this article.  It isn’t just about labels about choice and life - it’s about a distorted message, that if you don’t have an abortion and carry through an extremely risky pregnancy, you will have a child who is a star football player.  Obviously, most people aren’t stupid, and don’t see it that way, but at a basic level that’s what the ad is saying. bad
